The type of questions you ask yourself shapes your destiny. What sets apart successful and unsuccessful people is the quality of the questions they ask themselves – especially when things turn negative. Successful people ask empowering questions, such as: “What can I learn from this situation?” or “How can I enjoy this process?” and then they take massive action to turn things from negative to positive.
Unsuccessful successful people on the other hand, ask disempowering questions like: “Why does this happen to me all the time?” or “What did I do to deserve this?”. These questions put them in an un-resourceful state and because of that they most likely take no action or take the inappropriate action instead.
If you have the habit of using such not-so-helpful questions, changing your thought process may not be easy but as with learning anything new it takes practice. When these questions drive by your head next time, wave your hand and say “Bye-bye!”. Don’t let them illegally park in your head and waste your precious brain power.
